3D Studio Projects Save Properly and Finish in the Background

Projects created in the original 3D Studio could disappear from the project list, and longer final renders could stop when the page had waited too long. Drafts now stay saved, final videos keep rendering in the background, and the page follows their progress until the file is ready. Script planning is steadier too, so starting a new film no longer feels like a roll of the dice.

Fixed

Studio 2.0 Delivers the Whole Script — and Gives Failed Steps a Real Retry

Longer scripts could end halfway through a scene, while a failed attempt sometimes left nothing on screen except the original prompt. Scripts now arrive complete, any failed step appears clearly in the project with a Retry button, and the run is no longer stopped by an arbitrary spending ceiling. You still see the estimate before starting and each charge as the work is completed.

Character Explainer Gets Bespoke Motion Graphics

Choose Motion Graphics in the new Visual Style step and every part of your narration gets its own animated composition. Put it above gameplay for the familiar explainer layout or let it fill the screen for a complete motion-design video. The graphics are built around the meaning of each line rather than dropped into a repeating template.

Ask AutoClips Turns a Plain-English Request Into a Ready Script

Type what you want to make into the new Ask bar. AutoClips works out which of the 14 creators fits, writes the script with you, and opens that creator with the idea already in place. You can keep talking until it feels right instead of learning every format before you begin.

Improved

Every Character Explainer Project Has Its Own Link

A Character Explainer draft is now tied to its own URL, so reloading or bookmarking takes you back to the right project. A recent-project rail and New Project button make switching work much safer, while the new Visual Style step keeps gameplay, motion layout, theme and visual quality together in one clear place.

Improved

Studio 2.0 Finishes With One Smooth Cut and One Soundtrack

The final film now trims away frozen tail frames, softens the joins between clips, and lays one continuous soundtrack under the whole story instead of restarting music every few seconds. Finished Studio 2.0 videos also have their own tab in My Videos, so the result is easy to find after you leave the studio.

New

New Accounts Now Start With 150 Credits

Anyone joining from September 1 onward gets 150 credits to try AutoClips. Older accounts still show the original amount they actually received, so your balance and starter-credit progress never pretend you were given more than you were.

Fixed

Fewer Dead Ends When a Video Cannot Start

Cinematic Story now keeps you on the current step and tells you the real reason when a render cannot begin, instead of moving to a rendering screen with nothing running. Character Explainer renders are working again across every visual style, older Faceless drafts that used an unreliable image option reopen with a dependable choice automatically, and sample projects no longer use one of your real daily creation slots.

Fixed

The Cinematic Story Style Picker No Longer Freezes the Browser

Opening the visual-style step used to pull hundreds of megabytes of full-size previews at once. It now loads tiny, sharp thumbnails instead, taking the page from a long freeze to a quick, scrollable choice — especially noticeable on phones and slower connections.

Your own code and shareable link — takes about ten seconds to set up
Everyone who uses it gets 200 free credits, plus 10% off their first payment
You earn 100 credits when someone you sent makes their first video
1,000 credits when one of them upgrades to a paid plan
A dashboard showing exactly how many people clicked, signed up, and converted
Apply to the Reel program to get paid a per-video rate for reels you make about AutoClips
Nothing to install and no minimum audience size — new creators are welcome
Every image model available — including the ones lifetime plans could never reach
Standard credit cost on all of them, with no surcharge
Spend your regular credits — no special credit type to keep track of
A monthly credit top-up on top of what your lifetime plan already gives you
30% below the regular price, locked in for as long as you keep the Pass
Cancel any time — your lifetime plan and its credits carry on untouched
Two formats in one — a narrated explainer up to 70 seconds, or a short looping comedy skit
A 70-second option that clears the one-minute mark platforms want for longer-video payouts
Decide how much movement you want — clean cinematic sweeps, a few scenes brought to life, or every single scene animated
Captions that pop in one word at a time in colour, the way the format's biggest accounts do it
The same character throughout — one look, one voice, no drifting from scene to scene
A fresh set of topic ideas waiting for you every day, so you never open the page with nothing to say

New

Studio 2.0 Can Build Your Product Into the Story

Tap Promote, choose a saved brand, paste a product page or describe what you sell, then decide whether the promotion belongs in the middle, at the end or throughout. Your real product photos and screenshots guide how it appears, so the call to action feels like part of the film rather than an ad pasted on afterward.

Improved

Feature Requests Now Keep You in the Loop

When an idea you posted moves to Planned, In Progress or Shipped, you now get an email and an update on the request board. New, Planned, In Progress, Shipped and Yours each have a clean tab with live counts, and comment totals update as soon as the conversation grows.

UGC Ads Launches

Give AutoClips a product and get a batch of native-looking ads with different hooks, presenters, captions, music and finished cuts. Start from a link, pasted product details or your own photos, then let Autopilot finish everything or approve the script and storyboard before filming in Director mode.

3D Animated Studio 2.0 Launches

A new end-to-end studio turns one idea into a consistent animated world, cast, sequence of shots and final film up to 90 seconds. Brainstorm, attach references, choose a narrated or wordless story, direct each stage yourself or run the whole production on Autopilot.

New

A Full Timeline Editor for UGC Ads

Open any finished ad in a proper editor to split, trim, reorder, duplicate or remove clips; adjust captions scene by scene; add music and sound effects; preview transitions; and undo or redo freely. Re-cutting footage you already generated does not charge you to create it again.

New

Storycraft Brings Cast-Led Shorts to the Original 3D Studio

The original studio can now build a character-driven short instead of narration over visuals. It creates a cast with distinct voices, lets you choose who says each line, keeps reactions staged around the speaker, and hands the completed project to the timeline for shot-by-shot refinement.

Fixed

Settings, Credits and Recent Projects Load Again

Image-heavy pages were tying up the browser so completely that the sidebar balance, Settings and recent projects looked broken. Images now load directly and those parts of the app respond again, with faster page starts and fewer endless placeholders.

Improved

More Credits in Larger Plans and Simpler Top-Ups

Advanced now includes 30,000 credits, Enterprise 75,000 and Ultra 165,000. The pricing page shows the same amount checkout charges, and the new top-ups are 4,500 credits for $10, 11,250 for $25 or 22,500 for $50. The Buy Credits window is readable in dark mode again too.

August 24
New

Five More Creators Now Work in All 37 Languages

Quiz, Text Story, Stickman, Time Travel Vlog and Claymation now offer the complete language list. Scripts, narration, captions, answer reveals, chat labels and hashtags all follow the language you choose, including right-to-left and non-Latin writing. Automations carry the same choice into every scheduled video.

Improved

Speech Support Is Clear Before You Render

Some video quality levels speak a smaller set of languages than others. The language picker now tells you what the selected quality is known to support and warns when the pairing may speak incorrectly, so you can switch before spending credits instead of discovering it in the finished clip.

New

Character Explainers Can Now Run for 3 or 5 Minutes

The duration picker now goes all the way to five minutes, with longer custom scripts, more story beats and gameplay that keeps running for the full voiceover. The full price is shown before you start, and the finished-video email reports the same amount you were actually charged.

Fixed

Quiz Maker Opens on Essential Again

Essential members were being blocked by a video-length rule that does not apply to quizzes. Quiz length comes from the number of questions and the countdown you pick, so the creator is available again on that plan.

August 22
Fixed

Browsing Character Explainer No Longer Creates Mystery Drafts

Opening the creator, tapping a suggested topic and looking at the character step could create a permanent project even though you never wrote or generated anything. Drafts now begin only once there is real script work to save, duplicate copies are prevented, and the empty copies already created have been cleaned out without touching charged projects.

August 18
New

Quiz and Text Story Expand to 37 Languages

Both formats now write and speak in the full AutoClips language set. Quiz prompts, answer reveals and calls to action are translated as one experience; Text Story also translates the phone interface, delivery labels and ending card. Non-Latin answers, accents and right-to-left conversations now stay intact on screen.

August 17
Fixed

Miniature Videos Now Follow Your Idea, Not Just Your Words

Ask for a story about a mango stand and you'd sometimes get a scene where someone was literally holding a mango slice as an umbrella — every object you mentioned crammed into frame with no story tying them together. Scenes are now planned around what's actually happening and why, so each shot follows from the one before it. Miniature videos that got stuck partway through also finish now, and long ones no longer stall near the end.

Fixed

Story Pitch Images Load Instead of Saying Unavailable

The pitch and storyboard pages were showing broken tiles where your locations, looks and scenes should have been. They load properly now — and far faster, because the page had been downloading full-size artwork just to show it as a thumbnail. This fixes older projects too, with nothing for you to do. The third script option also no longer shimmers forever waiting on something that was never coming.

Fixed

Automations Now Speak the Language You Picked

Choosing Spanish and getting an English video was a real problem, and it's fixed across the board. Watching a finished automation run also works for every video type now — text story and quiz runs used to just say the video failed to load when it was there all along. Georgian narration works too.

Improved

Image Styles, Refunds and a Scrollable Topic Box

Picking certain image styles in Character Explainer would stop the video with an error — that's gone, and if a single scene's image fails you get those credits back instead of paying for a gap. In 3D Studio, long topics could no longer be scrolled back up to the top; the box behaves properly now. Cinematic Story's settings step has also been rebuilt so you can see what each choice actually costs and looks like before you commit.

August 16
Fixed

Automation Schedules Show the Real Time and Day

The preview under your schedule was working off the server's clock instead of yours, so it could name the wrong day or a time an hour or two off. Automations were firing correctly the whole time — the preview was the part telling you otherwise. It now shows exactly when your next video goes out, in your own timezone.

Fixed

Stuck Automations Pick Themselves Back Up

If a video stalled halfway through, it could sit there indefinitely instead of carrying on. Runs that stop making progress are now noticed and resumed automatically, so a temporary hiccup no longer costs you the whole video.

August 14
Fixed

Text Story and Miniature No Longer Die at the Script Step

Both formats could fail right after you hit create, with nothing to show for it. Writing the script now happens in the background rather than making you wait on a single request that could time out, so the step completes even when it takes a while.

Fixed

Back to Editor Actually Takes You Back to Your Video

Leaving the Cinematic Story editor and returning — or just reloading the page — could land you on an empty screen with your work seemingly gone. Your project now comes back exactly as you left it, and the link keeps working if you bookmark it or come back tomorrow.

Fixed

3D Studio: Your Script Edits Count Everywhere

Edits you made to the script weren't reaching the next steps, so images and voice were still being built from the original text. What you write is now what gets used. The step-by-step wizard is usable again too, and videos no longer end on a black screen.

Fixed

Characters Stop Changing Outfits Mid-Film

In Short Films, a character could turn up in a different outfit from one scene to the next. What they're wearing is now locked in for the whole film. Pasting a script that's too long also trims it to fit instead of silently refusing the paste.

August 12
Fixed

Text Story Automations Make Videos Again

Text story automations were running on schedule and producing nothing. They work now — if you have one set up, it will start delivering from its next scheduled run.

New

You Choose How Fast the Stickman Narrator Reads

Stickman narration was fixed at one pace, which felt rushed for explainers and slow for quick tips. You can now pick the speed that suits the video.

Fixed

The Story Pitch Offers Three Angles Again

You're meant to get three different takes on your idea to choose from, but only one was coming back. All three are there again, so you can pick the direction before anything gets made.

New

A New Image Style, and a Look at Camera Angles First

There's a new image style available across formats, and Miniature now shows you a preview of each camera angle so you can see what you're choosing rather than guessing from the name. Publish destinations show their platform icons too.

August 11
Fixed

The Characters You Tick Show Up in the Film

You could select a character for your story and have them left out of the finished video entirely. Anyone you tick is now guaranteed a part.

Fixed

Captions Stay Off When You Turn Them Off

Turning captions off and re-rendering a Character Explainer video brought them straight back. The setting now sticks. Stickman captions also stopped flickering between words.

Improved

Your Drafts Come Back

Character Explainer now saves as you go, so closing the tab or losing connection doesn't cost you the setup work. On phones, every tab in My Videos is reachable again without pinching to zoom out.

Fixed

A Story That's Too Long Tells You So

Pasting a long story into Cinematic Story used to leave you stuck with no explanation. It now tells you it's too long and by how much, so you can trim it and carry on.

August 8
New

Automations Can Now Run Miniature, Stickman, Text Story and Quiz

Automations were limited to a handful of formats. Four more are now available, so you can put any of them on a schedule and have videos arrive without you starting them.

New

Snapchat Becomes the Sixth Place a Video Can Go

Snapchat joins your publish destinations alongside the others, so a video you make here can go there directly.

Fixed

Romanian and Accented Captions Read Correctly

Captions in Romanian and several other languages were losing their accents and special letters, which changed words into ones that don't exist. Every letter now renders as written.

Creator Program — Earn Credits for the Videos You Already Make

Talk about AutoClips anywhere and you can now get paid for it. Join the Creator Program and you get your own code and link to share. Anyone who uses it lands with 200 free credits and 10% off if they upgrade — so it's a better deal for them, not just a tracking link. You earn 100 credits when someone you sent makes their first video, and 1,000 when one of them upgrades. There's a dashboard showing what's actually working, and a separate Reel program you can apply to if you'd rather be paid a set rate per reel.

Major

Lifetime Pass — Unlock Every Image Model on a Lifetime Plan

Lifetime plans have always been limited to a set of image models. The new Lifetime Pass removes that limit: add it and every image model opens up at standard credit cost, spent from your normal balance, with a monthly credit top-up on top of what your plan already gives you. It's optional, priced 30% below the regular rate and locked at that price for as long as you keep it, and you can cancel whenever you like — your lifetime plan and its credits carry on exactly as before.

Improved

Your Lifetime Plan Is Always Yours

If you own a lifetime plan, you can now take out a subscription alongside it and cancel that subscription later with your lifetime plan completely intact. You always keep whichever of the two is better — so subscribing on top can only ever add to what you have, never trade it away. The same is true if a card payment ever fails: the plan you bought outright is never affected.

Improved

Every Video Type Now Shows Up in My Videos

Quiz and Text Story videos weren't appearing in your library at all, and several other formats had no filter tab of their own — so if those were the videos you made, the page looked emptier than it should have. Every format AutoClips offers now has its place in the library and its own tab, and support can see all of them too if you ever need help with one.

August 5
Fixed

Your Own Music Is Back in the Edit Menu

Music you'd uploaded yourself couldn't be picked from the edit menu — only the built-in tracks showed up. Your uploads are now there where you'd expect them. Separately, re-rendering a video was quietly dropping its music altogether; edited videos now come back with their soundtrack intact.

New

Stickman Gets Tech & AI and Dev Life

Two new flavours for Stickman videos, aimed at anyone making content about technology, AI or programming. Hashtags now follow the flavour you picked too, so a video about a new AI model stops coming back tagged for a completely different niche.

Fixed

Sample Films No Longer Count Against Your Monthly Videos

New accounts come with a few showcase films already in them so there's something to look at on day one. Those were being counted as videos you'd made, which meant some new accounts opened already at their monthly limit. They're now clearly demos and don't touch your allowance.

August 4
Fixed

Short Films Now Match the Genre You Picked

Ask for a western and you should get a western. Short Films were being written against the wrong genre reference, so the tone often drifted somewhere else entirely. Genre now holds from the script all the way through to the finished cut.

Fixed

Characters Keep the Same Face From Shot to Shot

Characters built from a single reference image could come back looking different between scenes, with mouths out of sync and movement that didn't quite hold together. They now stay consistent across the whole film.

Fixed

Short Film Captions Line Up With the Voice

Captions on Short Films were timed against a different audio track than the one the video actually plays, so they drifted further out of sync the longer the film ran. They now follow the voice you hear.

New

Language and Quality Right on the Fruit Stories Box

Choosing a language or a quality level meant digging into More options first. Both now sit on the main create box where you can see them before you start.

August 3
Major

Stickman — A Whole New Video Type

The deadpan stick-figure explainer that's all over Reels right now joins the Create page. Type a topic and get a fully narrated video with drawn scenes and word-by-word captions — or switch to skit mode for a ten-second gag. There's a 70-second length that clears the bar platforms set for longer-video payouts, and a fresh batch of ideas waiting every day.

Major

Edit Your Character Explainer Before You Pay to Render It

This was the most-requested fix on the board, and it was a fair complaint: getting a video right used to mean rendering it, spotting the one thing you wanted to change, and paying to render the whole thing again. Now you can open the timeline first — trim scenes, shuffle things around, get it exactly how you want it — and only then render. It all happens on a single charge. Editing before you render costs nothing extra, and if you change the script, re-recording the voiceover is free too.

New

Choose How Much Effort Goes Into Your Script

Character Explainer now lets you pick from four script levels. The everyday one is quick and cheap. The higher ones put noticeably more craft behind the writing, and two of them go and read what's actually happening in the world this week — so a video about a story in the news quotes real, current specifics instead of vague filler. You see exactly what each level costs before you choose, and you can change your mind before anything is charged.

Improved

Hear Your Video Before You Render It

The Character Explainer preview used to be silent, which made it hard to judge pacing. It now plays the real voiceover with captions timed to the actual words — so what you hear in the preview is what you'll get in the finished video.

New

Claymation Now Performs in 22 Languages

Your clay cast can act in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, Polish, Turkish and more, with captions that match what's said. Pick a language on the setup screen and the whole skit is performed in it — no separate voice setup, no extra steps. Non-English is marked Beta while we keep tuning pronunciation.

Improved

A Fresh Set of Video Ideas Every Morning

Character Explainer now opens with topic suggestions pulled from what's genuinely going on right now, refreshed daily. One tap fills the box in. No more sitting in front of an empty page trying to think of something.

Improved

A Faster, Calmer Video Timeline

The timeline editor now opens with your entire video visible at once instead of running off the side of the screen, snaps clips neatly into line with a guide as you drag, lets you scrub by dragging along the ruler, and comes with real keyboard shortcuts plus a sheet reminding you what they are.

Fixed

Accented Letters Now Show Up Properly in Captions

Captions in Romanian, Polish, Czech, Turkish, Hungarian, Croatian and Lithuanian were quietly dropping their accented characters, leaving gaps mid-word. Every language we offer now renders its full alphabet.

August 2
New

Short Films Arrives in Fruit AI Stories

A new Short Film format sits alongside your other story formats: pick it, drop in a one-line idea, and get a widescreen, multi-scene film with an invented cast, voiced dialogue, and a real edit. Your saved characters can star in it too.

New

Miniature — A Whole New Video Type

The tilt-shift tiny-world ASMR format joins the Create page. Photorealistic miniature villages, satisfying giant-hand rescues, and native ASMR sound — no script or narration needed. Includes daily fresh ideas so you never run out of scenarios.

Improved

Story Scenes Now Appear As They Finish

Pro Max Quality Tier Launches Across AutoClips

Our best-ever video quality is here. Pro Max delivers sharper, more cinematic clips with natively generated sound — and finishes in a fraction of the time of previous top tiers. Available now in 3D Studio, Claymation, Talking Objects, Time Travel Vlog, Cinematic Story hook intros, and Fruit AI Stories, including your daily Automations.

New

Choose Your Quality Tier in Fruit AI Stories

Fruit AI Stories now has a quality picker: go Pro Max when you want a showpiece video that stands out, or stick with the standard tier when you're publishing in volume. Your story, your budget, your call.

July 16
New

Give Your Characters Their Own Voice

Your characters can now speak in any voice you choose. Grab a voice straight from any video clip — around 30 seconds is all it takes — assign it to a character, and they'll talk in that exact voice in your Time Travel and Claymation videos. Same character, same voice, every video: that's how you build stars your audience actually recognizes. And if a voice ever can't be applied, your video still finishes seamlessly with a natural voice — at no extra cost to you.

Improved

Characters From Photos — Now Consistent From Every Angle

Building a character from photos just leveled up. Upload up to 5 photos and AI automatically works out which angle each one shows — front, side, three-quarter — to build a character that looks right from every direction, in every scene. More photos in, more 'wait, that's AI?' comments out.

July 15
Improved

Quiz Maker — Built to Hold Viewers to the Last Second

Quiz videos got a full engagement overhaul: a running score tally stays on screen the whole video, questions ramp up through visible difficulty tiers, every question gets its own color wash, and it all builds to a deliberately obscure finale that stumps almost everyone — the kind of question people have to answer in the comments. Add mid-video calls-to-action, a rapid-fire Blitz mode, and support for regional languages, and your quizzes are engineered to farm watch time and comments in any market.

New

3 New Quiz Question Types — Debate, Anagram & Odd One Out

Quizzes now go way beyond multiple choice. Spark arguments with Debate questions ('settle this in the comments'), make viewers unscramble Anagrams against the clock, or challenge them to spot the Odd One Out in a grid. More variety keeps viewers guessing what's coming next — and watching to find out.

Create AutoClips Videos Straight From Claude

Connect AutoClips to Claude — on desktop or mobile — and create videos by just chatting. Ask Claude for a faceless video or a Character Explainer video, approve the credit quote, and AutoClips makes it while you keep talking. Content creation from inside your AI assistant.

July 9
Improved

Cleaner Social Captions — Hashtags Capped at 5

Auto-generated captions now stick to a maximum of 5 focused hashtags instead of a wall of tags. Your posts read like a creator wrote them, not a bot — which is exactly what the algorithms (and your audience) reward.

July 8
Fixed

X (Twitter) Posts No Longer Fail on Long Captions

Over-long descriptions were silently blocking some posts to X. Captions are now smartly trimmed to fit, so every scheduled post actually goes out.

Fixed

3D Studio — Captions Render Exactly As You Set Them

The caption on/off toggle and vertical position you pick in the editor are now respected in the final rendered video. Also fixed publishing crashes and timeout failures for longer renders — 3D Studio videos finish reliably.

July 5
Improved

Email Preferences Honored Everywhere

Your email notification preferences now apply across every type of email AutoClips sends. Turn something off once and it stays off — no exceptions.

New

Saved Characters — Your Reusable Character Library

Create a character once — describe them or upload a photo — and reuse them across every Cinematic Story video. Your characters keep the exact same look from video to video, so you can build recurring stars your audience recognizes. Comes with ready-made starter characters too.

Improved

Cinematic Story Engagement Overhaul

The biggest quality jump yet for Cinematic Story: 53 scene transitions with a pro-grade effects renderer, cuts that sync to the beat of your music, scroll-stopping hooks, series support for multi-part stories, and normalized audio loudness so every video sounds broadcast-ready.
